SPR Technology for Specificity Analysis
Specificity analysis in basic research
Intermolecular binding specificity is a biological binding process in which a certain ligand that can be blocked by competition with corresponding substances interacts with a specific structural site in vitro or in vivo. It is mainly used to study whether biomolecules and target molecules have specific binding. For example, for a key and a lock, there is a lock corresponding to the key, and the relationship between the key and the lock is specific. For the two substances A and B, the specificity is that we can only get B through A, which means that B is specific to A. If B can be obtained through C in addition to A, then B is not specific to A. Binding specificity is the most basic detection parameter for molecular interaction. People can screen and study the specific binding between drugs and drug targets, the specific binding of antigens and antibodies, and the interaction of biological enzymes and substrates through specific intermolecular binding. Specific binding effect. The determination of intermolecular binding specificity is the most basic part of basic biological research, and it is also the first step in the process of drug development.

The detection of specific binding is mainly used in the preliminary screening of the binding effect between two substances, such as the preliminary screening of drug targets in drug development. We can provide you with a high-throughput and highly selective specificity analysis to expand your experimental space. The general application process is shown in the figure below.

Firstly, you need to select the matching technology platform chip according to the experimental needs. In addition to our existing standard chips to choose from, we can also provide you with one-to-one customized services. Please put forward your request as much as possible, and we will design the most suitable chip type for you, based on our technology platform. Then you can prepare your sample and follow the standardized Biacore instrument operation method. Finally you will get the calculated image result on the computer. The image above shows the results of the analysis and detection of the three most common sample binding effects. Picture one means that the two substances are combined but the effect is not good. Picture two means that the combination of the two substances is very effective. And picture three means that the two substances are not combined.
- Due to the high precision of the chip coating of SPR technology platform, the image results obtained by the computer will be more accurate and stable, effectively avoiding the instrument error caused by the traditional core.
- Our SPR system can test hundreds of samples in a single run which can make your tedious preliminary screening easier so that you will greatly save manpower and material resources for subsequent research and development work.
Choosing SPR system of Creative Proteomics, you will greatly save time and money costs owing to high-throughput intermolecular interaction detection. All services are available on a 24/7/365 basis.
