Intermolecular binding specificity is a biological binding process in which a certain ligand that can be blocked by competition with corresponding substances interacts with a specific structural site in vitro or in vivo. For example, for a key and a lock, there is a lock corresponding to the key, and the relationship between the key and the lock is specific. For the two substances A and B, the specificity is that we can only get B through A, which means that B is specific to A. If B can be obtained through C in addition to A, then B is not specific to A.
